Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Practice Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice(s), including practice profitability, revenue goals and CORE metrics. This role ensures quality of care, patient access, and staff satisfaction while guiding strategic direction.

You will lead recruiting, scheduling, training and performance management, maintain audits for documentation and coding, and support disease management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2+ years relevant work experience.
• Two years experience directly supervising non-exempt staff; leadership experience may substitute for direct supervision.
• Practice Management Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs internal practice operations; creates benchmarks, tracks and reports progress.
• Researches process improvements/efficiencies and implements changes.
• Collaborates with SMD, providers and practice management to develop vision and CORE Work plan.
• Suggests improvements to processes and the customer experience.
• Assists with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintains scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluates staff performance; recommends promotions and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures physician documentation and coding audit program.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
