Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Practice Manager to oversee clinical and administrative duties, ensuring profitability, quality of care, and patient access.

The role includes directing operations, improving processes, and leading staff. Education and leadership experience in medical settings are required, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven, Southeast Michigan team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with healthcare leadership experience.
• Practice management certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in leadership roles in a medical office.
• Direct supervision of non-exempt staff for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Direct internal practice operations; set benchmarks and report progress.
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiency changes.
• Collaborate with SMD, providers and management on CORE Work plan.
• Suggest improvements to processes and patient experience.
• Assist with staff recruitment, hiring, orientation and coaching.
• Maintain staff scheduling and attendance records.
• Evaluate staff performance and manage promotions/discipline.
• Ensure physician documentation and coding audit program is maintained.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
