Job summary

BayCare Health System in Largo is looking for a Medical Office Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and support front-office operations for a positive patient experience.

You will handle scheduling, payments, and patient inquiries, ensuring accurate records and smooth communication within care teams in a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• Six months of healthcare or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience handling patient inquiries and front-desk tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing front desk operations including check-in and check-out.
• Scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Collecting payments and supporting revenue cycle processes.
• Handling patient inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Entering patient information and maintaining accurate records.
• Utilizing computer systems to manage schedules and workflows.
• Supporting communication between patients, providers, and care teams.
• Performing clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

? Shift: Days | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

? Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

? Status: Non-Exempt

Role Overview
