Job summary

BayCare's Medical Office Representative role in Largo, FL, invites you to join a leading healthcare network as the first point of contact for patients, supporting front-office operations and ensuring a positive, efficient patient experience.

You will manage front desk duties, schedule procedures, collect payments, handle inquiries, enter patient data, and collaborate with care teams using clinic systems. A high school diploma and at least six months of front-office experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Six (6) months of experience in one of the following: front-office roles or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Managing front desk operations including check-in and check-out.
• Scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Collecting payments and supporting revenue cycle processes.
• Handling patient inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Entering patient information and maintaining accurate records.
• Utilizing computer systems to manage schedules and workflows.
• Supporting communication between patients, providers, and care teams.
• Performing clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Role Overview
