Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida seeks a Medical Office Representative in Cardiology to support front desk operations in a busy cardiology practice. You will handle revenue cycle tasks, patient check-in/out, scheduling, and general administrative duties onsite in Lutz.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, coordinating appointments, and delivering a positive patient experience while maintaining smooth clinic operations. Onsite full-time position with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Six months of Healthcare experience OR Six months of Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient check-in and check-out processes
• Collecting payments and supporting revenue cycle activities
• Scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries
• Handling patient inquiries and responding to scheduling needs
• Entering orders and maintaining accurate patient information
• Utilizing various computer programs to manage schedules and patient records
• Managing patient communications and appointment coordination
• Supporting office workflow through administrative and clerical duties
• Maintaining accurate documentation and data entry
• Performing other duties as assigned

Education

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
