Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Medical Reception Supervisor to oversee the Medical Records and Medical Reception staff. You will collaborate with office leadership and the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient workflow, high customer satisfaction, staff engagement, and achievement of operational goals.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, manage scheduling and attendance, assist in budgeting, and help develop protocols to maintain compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with management and supervision coursework.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of medical office experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of assigned areas to ensure efficient, fiscally responsible and customer-responsive procedures and operations.
• Ensures efficient and effective scheduling for the medical records and medical reception staff and maintains Time & Attendance program; coordinating timekeeping and time-off requests. Fills in as medical receptionist when needed.
• Communicates thoroughly and promptly with office leadership, providers, triage and staff regarding all issues impacting day-to-day operations; develop clinical protocols as needed to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Manages clerical audits, internal and external, for the office.
• Assists in the development and oversight of the office budget.
