Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Medical Reception Supervisor to oversee the Medical Records and Medical Reception staff and related office areas in partnership with the Practice Manager. The role focuses on efficient patient flow, customer satisfaction, staff engagement, and achievement of operational goals.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years in a medical office with reception duties and prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; coursework in management and supervision.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Management or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas to ensure efficient, patient-focused workflows and customer service.
• Coordinate scheduling for medical records and medical reception staff; manage Time & Attendance.Fills in as medical receptionist when needed.
• Communicate with office leadership, providers, and staff on operational issues; assist in developing clinical protocols for compliance.
• Oversee clerical audits and assist in budgeting for the office.

Education
