Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Medical Reception Supervisor to oversee the Medical Records and Medical Reception staff. The role ensures efficient patient workflows, customer satisfaction and staff engagement, working with office leadership and the Practice Manager.

The supervisor will coordinate timekeeping, fill in as receptionist when needed, and help develop clinical protocols to meet federal regulations and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical office, with reception or cross-trained medical assisting duties.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Understands regulatory/compliance requirements in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of medical records and medical reception areas.
• Manages scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance for staff.
• Fills in as medical receptionist when needed.
• Communicates with leadership and staff about day-to-day operations; develops clinical protocols as needed.
• Manages clerical audits and budget oversight.
• Supports office leadership and Practice Manager to meet goals.
