Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Medical Reception Supervisor to oversee Medical Records and Medical Reception staff in our Michigan office. You will collaborate with leadership and the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient workflow, high customer satisfaction, staff wellbeing, and achievement of operational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a medical office with reception or cross-trained medical assisting duties.
• Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Education: High School graduate; associate/bachelor degree in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of assigned areas to ensure efficient, fiscally responsible and customer-responsive procedures and operations.
• Ensures efficient and effective scheduling for the medical records and medical reception staff and maintains Time & Attendance program; coordinating timekeeping and time-off requests. Fills in as medical receptionist when needed.
• Communicates thoroughly and promptly with office leadership, providers, triage and staff regarding all issues impacting day-to-day operations; develop clinical protocols as needed to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Manages clerical audits, internal and external, for the office.
• Assists in the development and oversight of the office budget.
