Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Medical Imaging in the Philadelphia area. You will install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1+ years in imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries, an electronics degree, and strong problem-solving skills. Travel is about 70%, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent; engineering licensure preferred (BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET).
• Ability to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain imaging equipment and associated systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Manage administrative duties (timesheets, service work orders, PMs, installation docs) per Philips requirements.
• Travel ~70% with 1–4 hours daily driving; occasional overnight travel.
• Provide exceptional customer service and generate service revenue.
• Work with the regional team to improve processes and training as needed.
