Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Baltimore, MD and Washington DC area. You will install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites while building strong relationships with clients.

The role requires 1+ years in imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical fields, with an associate degree in electronics or related field. Travel is about 70%, including potential overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in diagnostic imaging service, or 3+ years in other electromechanical industries.
• Experience with diagnostic x-ray/cardiovascular/cath labs equipment preferred.
• Ability to install, diagnose and repair equipment using appropriate tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, manage service obligations and generate service revenue.
• Participate in regional team, improve processes and identify training needs.
• Complete paperwork such as PMs, FCOs, installation documents and regulatory requirements.
• Use tools and escalation processes to diagnose and resolve electronic, network and mechanical issues.
• Travel approx. 70% across the geography; occasional overnight stays and travel by air/train.
