Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Wells, ME to greet and register patients at the front desk and to coordinate scheduling and payments. The role supports both patient care flow and administrative operations in our outpatient physical therapy centers.

The candidate will handle insurance verifications, co-pays, and communications with insurers, attorneys, translation services, and internal teams to ensure smooth visits and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 45 Wells Plaza Unit 10, Wells, ME 04090

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
