Job summary

Select Medical's outpatient physical therapy center in Sugar Hill, GA seeks a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register, and assist patients at the front desk. This part-time role involves scheduling, collecting co-pays, and coordinating with insurers to ensure smooth visits.

You'll work on Weekdays up to 20 hours per week, with compensation starting at $16 per hour and eligibility for benefits. Prior front desk and medical office experience is preferred to deliver exceptional patient

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, provide visit expectations, and inform about next appointment at checkout.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance, translation services, market leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Sugar Hill,we want them to have an exceptional experience - starting at the front desk. That's where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
