Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Stevens outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and coordinate with insurance and providers.

This full-time role offers evenings until 7pm and a Monday-Friday schedule in Stevens, PA 17578. We provide mentorship, generous PTO, comprehensive medical/dental plans, and a company‑matched 401(k).

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in scheduling healthcare appointments is preferred.
• Healthcare front-desk experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys, insurance companies, and translation services; support operations.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours vary/2-3 evenings till 7pm)

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00/hour (pending experience)

As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
• Healthcare experience
