Job summary

Select Medical in Broomall, PA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, register them, and guide them through the visit process at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will handle scheduling, payments, and payer communications to ensure smooth visits and accurate authorizations.

This full-time on-site role requires strong front desk skills and healthcare familiarity. The position offers a 32+ hour baseline with generous benefits, including PTO, medical/dental/vision,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation services, ops leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary) (2 evenings till 7pm per week)

Compensation:$19.00 - $22.00/hour (pending experience)

• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
