Job summary

Select Medical in Butler, PA, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register, and guide patients through their visit from check-in to checkout. You’ll schedule appointments, coordinate with insurance and providers, and help manage payments and patient communications at the front desk.

Full-time hours, Monday–Friday with some evenings, offering a supportive team environment, mentorship, and health benefits. Prior front desk or healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Front desk experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market ops leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: 256 New Castle Road, Suite B, Butler, PA 16001

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary/3-4 evenings until 7pm per week)

Compensation:$15.00 - $18.00/hour (pending experience)

Preferred:

• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
