Job summary

Talentify seeks a Patient Service Specialist at our Scranton, PA outpatient physical therapy center. You’ll be the first contact, greeting patients, scheduling visits, and assisting with insurance verifications.

The role is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and evening hours a few nights per week. A high school diploma or GED is required, and healthcare or front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain what to expect during visits.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 555 Lackawanna Ave. Scranton, PA 18503

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary/3 evening till 6pm per week)

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour (pending experience)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
