Job summary

Select Medical in Scottsdale is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit from check-in to checkout. This full-time role supports front desk operations and revenue cycle tasks in our outpatient clinic.

You will schedule appointments, handle co-pays, and coordinate with insurance providers while delivering friendly, efficient service to every patient. Clinic hours are weekdays, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Medical Office Experience required.
• Insurance Verification Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain visit flow at check-in.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain regular communication with offices, insurers and translation services.
• Collect co-pays and manage payer approvals; perform authorizations and verifications.

Location: 7400 North Dobson Rd, Suite 103, Scottsdale AZ 85256

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday (Clinic Hours)

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00/hour

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience
