Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Patient Service Specialist in Palmer, AK. This full-time role from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday focuses on front-desk patient intake, appointment scheduling, and front-office administration at our outpatient PT centers in Palmer.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of front desk and/or medical office experience. Benefits include health coverage and retirement planning options. Training is provided to ensure a smooth onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with external offices and teams to support operations.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 304 West Evergreen Ave, Suite 101, Palmer, AK 99645

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weedays, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
