Job summary

Select Medical's Evergreen outpatient physical therapy center seeks a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, provide visit information, and coordinate front-desk tasks that set the tone for every visit.

As a full-time team member, you will handle scheduling, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and communicate with attorneys, insurers, and the care team to keep operations running smoothly. A positive, patient-focused attitude is essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and upcoming appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications and authorizations.

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation:$19.00 - $20.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
