Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Palmer, AK is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and schedule visits. You will handle front-desk tasks, coordinate with insurers, and collect co-pays in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with benefits and opportunities for growth within outpatient PT centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk experience.
• Preferred: 1 year medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys, insurance providers, translation services, and leadership teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weedays, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team

• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
