Rush University Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and coordinate the front-desk workflow for outpatient physical therapy centers.

You will schedule appointments, communicate with insurance providers and internal teams, and help with co-pays and verifications. This full-time role requires weekday hours and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 6801 Park Terrace Drive, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90045

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
