Rush University Medical Center in Upland, CA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to warmly greet patients, register them, and coordinate scheduling and payments at the front desk. You will liaise with attorneys, insurers and translation services to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of medical office experience, and insurance verification experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Clinic Hours

Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00/hour

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish Speaking)
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
