Job summary

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for its Crystal Lake outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit details, and help coordinate their next appointments.

The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evenings, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within the clinic network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience.
• 1 year medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 1095 Pingree Road Suite 209 Crystal Lake, IL 60014

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary/ 2 evenings until 6:15pm per week)

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00/hour (pending experience)
