Job summary

Select Medical in Anaheim is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle payments at the front desk of our outpatient center.

The full-time role from Monday to Friday includes mentorship, generous PTO, comprehensive medical plans, and a company-matching 401(k). Your interaction with patients and coordination with the center team drives a positive care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance, translation companies, market OPS, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation:$23.00 - $24.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out


• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone


• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team


• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience


• Bilingual (English/Spanish Speaking)
