Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in Upland, CA. This full-time role handles front-desk operations, patient check-in/out, scheduling, and payer communications, contributing to a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and inform them about visit expectations and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, market leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Schedule: Weekdays, Clinic Hours

Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00/hour

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish Speaking)
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
