Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Patient Service Specialist in West Allentown, PA. This per diem role involves front desk responsibilities at an outpatient physical therapy center, guiding patients through check-in/out, and coordinating scheduling and billing processes.

You will greet patients, help with appointments, and interact with insurance providers and ancillary partners to ensure smooth operations and accurate co-pays and verifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum required High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain professional communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation services, market ops leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: West Allentown, PA

Type of Employment: Per Diem

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary) (2 evenings per week)

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00/hour (pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in West Allentown, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.
