Job summary

The Injury Clinic, a walk-in orthopedic urgent care with locations in Lake Oswego and Beaverton, is seeking a Front Office Staff member. You will be the first point of contact, manage patient flow, handle essential paperwork, and navigate insurance and referrals in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities include scheduling, EMR registration, and coordinating with providers. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Healthcare admin or customer service experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes.
• Proficient with EMR systems and general office software.
• HIPAA compliance required; reliable commuting to Lake Oswego, OR and Beaverton, OR.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties: greet patients, manage welcome flow and first contact.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate calls for providers.
• Register new patients in EMR (AthenaOne) and process forms.
• Check in/out patients and handle mail, inbox tasks, and messages.
• Assist in insurance verification and referrals as needed.
