Job summary

DHR Health is seeking a Clinic Office Specialist for Valley Cardio Shared to manage visitors, patients, and calls in a fast-paced cardiology clinic. This role supports clinic services, information flow, and professional office presentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of receptionist experience in a medical setting, solid computer skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities to ensure patient confidentiality and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Computer skills required with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; be courteous and helpful at all times.
• Answer and route all incoming calls to the front desk and handle promptly.
• Respect and maintain patient privacy; ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Route faxes to the appropriate EMR account.
• Schedule, reschedule, confirm, or cancel patient appointments as needed.
• Register new patients with full demographic, ID, and insurance details.
• Collect co-pays and balance daily cash drawer; deposit proceeds as needed.
• Provide efficient telephone services and transfer calls per protocol.
