The US Oncology Network is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist in Elgin, IL. The role greets patients and visitors, collects essential information, and supports front desk operations in a medical clinic.

Responsibilities include handling demographics, insurance documents, co-pays, and maintaining a professional lobby. Occasional travel to other sites may be required, with a focus on patient confidentiality and smooth clinic flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years office experience, preferably in medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, professional manner.
• Obtains demographic and insurance information; copies insurance cards and driver’s license.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles and other amounts at visit.
• Maintains lobby area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Identifies no-shows, cancels and reschedules per policy; follows up.
• Protects patient confidentiality per policy.
• Covers other front office tasks as needed; prepares correspondence.
• Travels to other sites as required.
