Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking a Part Time Program Coordinator for the Department of Anesthesiology on the Tucson campus. You will coordinate medical student clerkships, electives, visiting students, and residency/fellowship coverage while supporting education leadership and administrative operations.

Ideal candidates communicate effectively with faculty, students, and staff, manage multiple schedules, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or advanced learning attained through experience.
• Up to 1 year of relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and coordination software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Clerkship Director and program leadership.
• Coordinate medical student clerkships, electives, visiting students, and rotations; maintain schedules.
• Communicate policies, deadlines, and requirements to students and faculty; address routine inquiries.
• Maintain and report educational records, schedules, and documentation; update policies and resources.
• Support VSLO processes for visiting student applications and scheduling.
