Job summary

Ferno-Washington, Inc is seeking a Field Service Representative for medical devices in the Denver area. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

The role requires strong electronics/mechanical skills, customer service, and the ability to travel up to 75% within the territory. Relevant technical certifications and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in field service or medical device support or related technical role
• Equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test medical devices at customer facilities per company standards
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety checks on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair devices, diagnose issues, and resolve promptly
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals
• Train clinical staff and end-users on equipment operation and basic maintenance
• Maintain service documentation including reports, logs, and compliance records
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and safety standards (FDA, ISO)
• Manage service territory, schedule visits, and engage 3rd party resources as needed
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and service equipment
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer support to improve satisfaction
• Identify opportunities for service contract renewals, upgrades, or product improvements
