Job summary

Ferno is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, maintain, and repair medical devices at customer sites. You will troubleshoot issues, provide on-site and remote support, and train clinical staff to ensure safe device operation.

Travel up to 75% within assigned territory; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 2–5 years field service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Strong electronics and mechanical systems knowledge; familiarity with medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test medical devices at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair devices; diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Train staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Maintain service documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
