Job summary

Ferno-Washington, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative for medical devices to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites.

You will support safe device use, deliver high-quality service, and collaborate with clinical staff and engineering teams. This role requires strong electronics and diagnostics skills, the ability to read schematics, and excellent customer service with substantial travel, often within healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field preferred.
• 2–5 years in field service, medical device support, or related technical role.
• Equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test medical devices at customer facilities per standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety checks on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair devices; diagnose issues and resolve promptly.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Train clinical staff and end-users on operation and basic maintenance.
