The position involves working 0.6 FTE with a regular schedule, floating to nearby clinics as needed to cover staffing gaps and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year comparable experience in a healthcare setting.
• Successful completion of formal medical training program such as MA, HUC, NA, or Medical Secretary.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient and provider schedules for assigned areas.
• Complete patient registration and check-in process.
• Verify patient demographic, employer and insurance information.
• Perform telephone message taking and direct communication professionally.
• Manage multiple technology applications.
• Handle MyChart requests including patient sign-up, messaging, and password resets.
• Multi-task and prioritize appropriately.
• Continuously improve work processes, the environment and overall patient experience.
