Concentra, Inc. in York, PA seeks an Assistant Medical Center Manager to support the Center Operation Director in delivering outstanding patient care and service.

You will oversee daily center operations, staff coordination, patient flow, scheduling, training, and performance tracking to ensure efficiency and high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, healthcare administration knowledge, and a patient-first mindset are essential, as you’ll mentor back-office teams and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent directly related work experience preferred
• Customarily has at least one year of direct management experience
• Customarily has at least six months of healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and preparing work schedules and assigns colleagues to specific duties
• Assists in ensuring the financial performance of the center
• Assists in developing and maintaining new policies, procedures and training programs for the assigned center
• Assists with hiring, training, and evaluating Center operations colleagues
• Assists Center Operation Director with the hiring, training, disciplining and terminating of back office personnel
• Assists in the preparation and review of operational reports and schedules
• Assists Center Operation Director in HR policy implementation for Center personnel
• Assists in preparing annual budgets
• Provides on-site tours/training of Center personnel to present clinic services
• Manages on-site nursing services, including billing counseling and supervision
• Administers testing by medical staff and ensures certifications are current
• Assists in monitoring marketplace trends and competitive information
• Coordinates and consolidates services with local vendors to obtain best prices
• Facilitates productivity and customer service
• Lead by example with daily center operations and floor work
