Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Call Center Strategic Scheduler to support multiple clinics in the Rockville area. You will make and receive calls, monitor daily physician schedules, and coordinate rescheduling to optimize throughput.

The role requires strong organization, prior call center experience, and familiarity with Electronic Health Records. This full-time, on-site position offers a 4-day workweek, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Call Center experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years medical insurance experience.
• Healthcare office experience preferred.
• Proficient with EHR and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage physicians’ daily schedule to fill open slots.
• Waitlist management to move patients to sooner appointments.
• Reschedule patients when providers close schedules.
• Coordinate electronic and paper referral processes.
• Monitor and respond to voicemails daily.
• Collaborate with Admin MAs to relay messages to providers.
• Work a hybrid arrangement after 6 months.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
