Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and create a positive guest experience in our clinic setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is a plus, and the position includes front-desk responsibilities and rooming patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification or registration preferred; required where certification is mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections.
• Prepare and administer medications or immunizations as ordered.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document and communicate test results to patients via appropriate channels.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
