Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, blending medical assistance with front-desk responsibilities.

The role requires 1 year of MA experience, completion of a MA program, CPR/BLS, and possibly phlebotomy. Growth opportunities exist within Marathon Health's expanding network of centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam areas are clean and ready.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, assist with procedures and coordinate with labs.
