Marathon Health in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team and support primary care providers in delivering patient-centered services. This role blends clinical responsibilities with front-desk duties to create a smooth patient experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification, with phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred. MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date; Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Reviews patient information and gathers updated health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, medical records requests, and coordinating referrals.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines and communicate test results to patients.
