Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant in Naperville, IL. You will support a primary care physician, manage front desk duties, take vitals and assist with procedures to ensure excellent patient care and a great guest experience.

We offer competitive benefits that start the first of the month after hire, 15 days of PTO plus holidays, and no out-of-pocket cost for scrubs. Salary range is $21.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduate of a formal MA program or related program.
• MA certification/registration required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with injections and procedures.
• Work with the care team to address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests and referrals.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate timely results.
• Coordinate with contracted labs for additional tests.
