Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant in Naperville, IL. The role supports a primary care physician, delivering patient care and an exceptional guest experience within Marathon’s care model.

The Medical Assistant will perform clinical duties and front-desk tasks, acting as a liaison across the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care. A formal MA program graduate with CPR/BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; CPR/BLS required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform procedures, and assist providers with care.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Record data in the medical record per guidelines; manage test results.
