Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and an exceptional guest experience, handling both front desk duties and clinical responsibilities.

Requirements include 1 year of MA experience, completion of a MA program, state certification preferred, CPR/BLS, and phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MA experience in primary care preferred
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked
• Take vitals and assist with procedures per provider orders
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and care coordination
• Document data accurately in the medical record and communicate test results
