Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality primary care. You will support a primary care physician, oversee both front-desk duties and clinical tasks, and contribute to a positive guest experience for our patients.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is a plus, and we offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and wound care.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate lab tests with contracted labs.
• Prepare and administer medications per provider orders.
• Handle front desk tasks: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data accurately in the medical record and share results timely.
