Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Peabody, MA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our busy practice. The role is onsite, 40 hours per week, with training initially 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and potential shift adjustments to start around 7:45–8:00 AM with a 5:00 PM end time and one half-day weekly.

The ideal candidate will have completed a MA training program or 1 year of MA experience with national MA certification preferred; BLS and CMA certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1-2 years direct MA experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant supports clinical operations and ensures smooth patient flow under physician or advanced practitioner supervision.
• Take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy if competent, and assist with immunizations and related inventory.
