Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians in Lexington, MA, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support a Primary Care practice onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:45am–4:15pm or 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours weekly.

You will take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, assist with phlebotomy if competent, and help manage patient flow while collaborating with physicians and nurses to ensure compassionate, efficient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1-2 years direct MA experience required.
• BLS Certification required; CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document patient information and enter data in the medical record.
• Interview patients, collect specimens, and perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Explain procedures and medications; assist with onboarding and education materials.
• Manage phone calls, scheduling, and patient flow; liaise with providers.
