Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a 32-hour Medical Assistant to support our internal medicine office in Scituate, MA, onsite from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. The role includes vital signs, patient intake, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of MA experience, BLS and CMA certification, and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an MA degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• BLS Certification and CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and non-clinical patient services, taking vital signs and documenting information.
• Interview patients, prepare equipment, and ensure accurate medical records.
• Explain procedures and medications to patients and organize educational materials.
