Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 1–2 years required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vitals, prepare examination rooms and equipment.
• Interview patients and record medical information.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Explain procedures and provide patient education materials.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens when competent.
• Maintain immunization inventory and vaccine expiration checks.
• Support quality initiatives like patient identifiers and hand hygiene.
