Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a patient-centered primary care setting. The Medical Assistant supports both front-desk and clinical duties, delivering high-quality care and a welcoming guest experience to our patients.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred, with benefits starting on the first of the month after start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from an MA program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Reviews previous medical information and updates health data as needed.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Partner with the care team to develop and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, medical record requests and referrals.
• Records accurate data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate outcomes to patients as directed.
• Participates in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for treatments.
