Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. You will work closely with a physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide a welcoming guest experience to our patients.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, lab coordination, and front-desk duties. Minimum 1 year MA experience and CPR/BLS are required; phlebotomy experience is preferred. Competitive benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MA experience in primary care.
• Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where state mandates.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and prep exam rooms.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Work with labs for tests.
• Administer meds and vaccines as ordered.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines.
